- Ages 3 to 5: ballet, hip hop, tap, and Dance Combo (acro, jazz and ballet), on weekends and Wednesday afternoons.
- Ages 5 to 7: ballet, jazz, hip hop and acrobatics.
- Ages 8 to 12: ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, tap, acrobatics, and Song + Dance, our musical theatre class.
- Teens, 11 and up: ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop and tap.
- Adults, 19 and up: ballet, tap and jazz-lyrical. See our adult dance classes.

Whether your child has never danced before or is ready to compete, there’s a place for them here.
Foundations Program: recreational classes with no experience needed. Dancers are placed by age and can try any style.
Experienced Program: a more focused recreational experience, with the option of a pre-competitive team. Dancers are placed by age and skill level.
Accelerated Program: for dancers ready for the next level, with at least two classes a week, Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet exams and competitions. Placement is by age and an assessment of skill.

Kara Robinson, our School of Dance Manager, trained through Canada’s National Ballet School Teacher Training Program and is a Royal Academy of Dance Registered Teacher. Nicole Shane is also a National Ballet School Teacher Training graduate and RAD Registered Teacher, and received the 2026 Sylvia M. McPhee Award. Nicholas Gede-Lange is a graduate of Canada’s National Ballet School.
2026/27 tuitionPrices
Tuition is paid monthly over 10 months, September to June, plus GST.
- 45-minute class: $74.25 a month on Saturday, Sunday or Monday; $81.00 Tuesday to Friday
- 1-hour class: $85.80 or $93.60
- 1 hour 15 minutes: $102.30 or $111.60
- 1 hour 30 minutes: $115.50 or $126.00
Take two yearlong classes and save 5%, three and save 10%, four or more and save 15%. Membership, recital, exam and competition fees, performance tickets, uniforms and costumes are extra.

Class Observation Opportunities
Families are invited to attend our viewing weeks—offered twice per season—to watch their child’s progress in action.
FREE Trial Classes
Students are welcome to try new dance styles through trial classes, available during designated weeks and by request throughout the year.
Costume Fittings & Coordination
We handle the details—measuring, ordering, and distributing costumes to make recital season easier for families.
Student Events
From Halloween Week to PJ Week and the occasional Movie Night, we build in seasonal fun that keeps students excited and engaged.
Community Performance Opportunities
Dancers may have the chance to perform at local events such as the Steveston Salmon Festival Parade.
Competition & Exam Support
We coordinate registration, scheduling, and administrative details for RAD exams and competitions to keep your experience smooth and stress-free.
Performance & Exam Highlights
Annual Recital at Massey Theatre
Full-year students perform in our year-end recital on 20 June 2027 at the Massey Theatre in New Westminster, with a full dress rehearsal on stage the day before.
Dance Competition Participation
Dancers in the Accelerated and Experienced programs take part in at least two competitions per season, building confidence, performance skills, and team spirit. One rehearsal per year is included for competitive students.

We proudly host Royal Academy of Dance exams right at our studio for student convenience.

From age 3. Our youngest classes are ballet, hip hop, tap and Dance Combo for ages 3 to 5.
Yes. New students can take one free trial class in each style, depending on space and the teacher’s advice. For children 8 and older, we may suggest a short assessment instead.
Each style has its own dress code, listed with each class when you register. Ballet students also need an exercise ball.
Full-year students dance in the June recital. Competitions are for dancers in the Experienced and Accelerated programs.
