HOW MUCH DO LESSONS COST? HOW DO I PAY?
We offer 4-lesson trials for just $99.00 plus material costs to start!
After that, lessons range from $57.00 to $70.00 per hour, depending on the teacher and instrument that best fits your child’s needs and level. Lessons are available at 30 minute, 45 minute, or 1 hour, with 30 minutes to start typically.
We accept payment in monthly installments or in full for the year (44 lessons, September to July, with August for make-ups/extras) and both Pre-Authorized Debit and Credit Card are as available payment methods.”
AT WHAT AGE CAN MY CHILD START MUSIC LESSONS?
We recommend starting private piano lessons at age 4 or older. For violin, guitar, ukulele, voice and drum lessons, it will depend on the individual child’s motor skills and focus, but we recommend a student be at least 5 years old before trying these instruments. Our four-lesson trial package is a good way to give an instrument a try and find out if your child is ready!
For students ages 3-4 we also offer Mini Melody Makers Class as a starting point before they are old enough for private piano lessons.
Piano: 4+ years old
Violin/Ukulele: 5+ years old
Guitar/Drums/Voice: 8+ years old
WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST STARTING POINT FOR MY CHILD WITH NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN MUSIC?
For students ages 3-5, our Mini Melody Makers Group Class is a great starting point for an introduction to music! Otherwise, for older students, we offer 4 lesson private music trials in the instrument of their choice so they can see if the lessons and teacher are a good fit.
DO YOU OFFER TRIAL LESSONS?
Yes, we offer a 4 lesson trial for a flat rate of $99.00 plus any necessary material fees, depending on the instrument. Lessons are 30 minutes each, one-on-one with a teacher. We recommend having 4 lessons so that students and parents can get an accurate feel for the commitment, lesson structure, and instructor.
